Intro

This is my why, why I started this. I feel there is a need to share our stories on what has changed us. There are so many people that have had traumatic life changing events happen to them and from that moment they will never be the same person they were.  Trying to navigate into the new life after their loss or life changing event. Its so hard to work out who you are what you should be doing.  I want this to be real no sugar coating what's happened.  No one can tell you how to feel or what you should be doing or how you should after the fact or that you should be over it because its been a year or two or 10.  I lost my husband 3 years in December and my mum will be a year in November.  I'm struggling a lot, I don't know who I am what I should be doing. Am I raising the kids right? Its such a mind game of emotions I want to be happy but then if I'm happy does that mean that I have forgotten them. I have guilt for feeling like I want to be happy but then I have guilt for the kids for not being happy.  Would love to hear from you and share your story - this is such a personal journey and I myself want to hear stories I can relate to, to help me and others that feel isolated and lost in their trauma.  I want to know what you did in your life altering moment, how did you react? what went through your mind at the time? How do you get through each day? I would love to hear your story.  Get in touch  email - onedayatatime-podcast@outlook.com Facebook - One day at a time
