Перший роман про голод: "Марія" Уласа Самчука
Про голодомор 1932-33 років на Заході в той час було відомо мало кому. В підрадянській Україні про це ніхто не міг писати -- тема була табуйована, -- а на Заході про це майже не писали, бо нікого не було в Україні і на власні очі цього ніхто не бачив. Першим, хто описав цю трагедію (хоч і коротко дуже, як ми це побачимо) був Улас Самчук, який 1934 року у Львові видав "Марію". Про неї цей подкаст.
