Introduction to Pranayama with Bob
Hi and welcome to Pranayama with Bob. I am your host Bob Shabasson. Have you ever tried looking for yogic breathing, or pranayama, classes either in-person or online. Looking for intermediate or advanced pranayama classes are not easy to find, if you can find them at all. Many yoga teachers only offer very basic instruction. I am here to provide guided pranayama classes, and daily practices. There is no prior experience needed, we will learn and practice each technique and stage together. For example, Ujjyai has 13 stages, while Viloma has 9, each progressively more refined. Each daily practice should only take 20-30 minutes. Pranayama is a form of meditation. You will need a couple blankets, and a meditation cushion. If you are not comfortable sitting on a cushion, a regular kitchen chair is perfectly fine too.
