<p>Listen as the CEOs and Founders of Girls Play Global and Privando come together to empower women in two different ways, all away from three continents and an ocean!&nbsp;</p> <p>Janani Shivakumar is a junior at Metuchen High School in New Jersey, a passionate social justice activist, and the founder and president of Girls Play Global, a non-profit initiative to empower girls in rural India through sports. Girls Play Global aims to provide free soccer training to girls from lower-economic backgrounds to battle gender biases and build self-confidence, physical fitness, and mental wellness as well as educate girls about global issues. She is also a United Nations SGDs youth advocate, and an international speaker to raise awareness for gender equality and climate change. Janani is actively involved in several international organizations and is working towards establishing a more sustainable and ethical world for all.</p> <p>Jeeva Senthilnathan graduated from Class Of 2020, and will be joining in as a college freshman this year. She has played a major role in Southeast Asian Representation in the Black Lives Matter Movement, Climate Movement, and the Gun Safety Movement in the United States. She started Privando because there is no action plan taking place for women in her home country. Jeeva is a thinker, problem solver, and go – getter when it comes to making the impact. &nbsp;She, like Janani, has been involved with the United Nations as well through international service, and heavily involved in community organizing. She is working so hard to gather a team and has gotten involved in multiple startup international organizations to help build Privando together.&nbsp;</p>
