Play at Home Study
This episode describes a study conducted to explore factors to play at home during COVID-19, how to be more playful at home, how organizations can support more play in their communities, and how the COVID-19 pandemic appears to have affected play. The episode explores factors to play such as parental well-being, work and productivity, arranging a home environment, and viewing children as masters of play. It also presents an overview of how the public response to COVID-19 appears to have affected the landscape of play. This study was conducted to inform the service offerings of the Regina Early Years Family Resource Centre, and was funded by the University of Regina Community Engagement and Research Centre.
