Tuntas Sudah Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Timur Kuningan yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian PUPR melalui BBPJN DKI Jakarta-Jawa Barat tepatnya oleh Satuan Kerja PJN Wilayah III. Jalan dengan total panjang 7,241 kilometer (km) ini dibangun mulai Desember 2018 dengan pembangunan yang dimulai dari Desa Garatengah, Kecamatan Japara sampai ke Desa Kedungarum, Kecamatan Kuningan, Kabupaten Kuningan, Provinsi Jawa Barat sebagai jalan alternatif dari Cirebon ke Kuningan sekaligus mengurangi kepadatan lalu lintas di jalur Cirebon – Kuningan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Pembangunannya tak hanya dilakukan oleh Kementerian PUPR saja, tapi juga berkolaborasi dengan pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan dari mulai pembebasan lahan dan juga membangun jalan akses menuju jalan lingkar timur kuningan sepanjang 6,5 Kilometer (km) sehingga total keseluruhannya adalah 13,7 Kilometer (km) Selamat Datang Lingkar Timur Kuningan, Selamat Tinggal Kemacetan Cirebon Kuningan hanya 45 Menit
