Bible Study Unlocked
<p>Studying the Bible is daunting. I have gone through seasons where the fear of getting it wrong held me back. I was unmotivated. Didn’t care. Couldn’t be bothered. Didn’t see the value. Had other priorities.</p> <p>Why did I think those things? Because I thought the subject and purpose of the Bible was Humanity aka me. But it is not us. The subject is God and his faithfulness in bringing redemption through Jesus.</p> <p>Now, this is actually huge. This core understanding is the key to unlocking the fullness of Gods word.</p> <p>Knowing that it’s about God - his rule and reign makes way for us to understand the riches of the Old Testament into the New.</p> <p>In this episode I chat all things Bible Study. Humility in Knowledge
<p>In this episode I ponder the meaning and origin of knowledge. We look at the questions: "who is the ultimate source of knowledge?", "What place do we then have in the attainment of knowledge?", "what does this mean?", and personally tackle the question "How can you love a God you do not know?" </p> <p>The aim of this episode is to get us thinking about knowledge prior to studying Gods's word. It is to set our heart and minds in a place of humility. Knowing that God alone is the ultimate source of knowledge, and that what we know and begin to know cannot compare. Hence, leaving us humble and reliant before the creator. </p> <p>It is my prayer that this would be a tool to draw you closer to God, that you would be able to listen in awe of who God is. </p> <p>I encourage you to look up all that I say for yourself. Compare it to Gods word. Challenge it. Grow from it. And be changed by it. </p> <p>I have attached all biblical references below.
