Die Nierentransplantation

Mit Medikamenten soll die Abstoßung des Spenderorgans verhindert werden und in den meisten Fällen können Patienten für viele Jahre ein relativ normales Leben führen. Wenn Kinder nierenkrank sind
Chronische Nierenerkrankungen von Kindern oder Jugendlichen sind eine besondere Herausforderung für die Familie. Die Krankheit verändert das Leben aller Familienmitglieder und weckt Sorgen und Ängste. Der Verein Kids Kidney Care arbeitet zu 90% auf karitativer Basis. Die Hilfsorganisation ist 1998 entstanden, um die nicht gedeckte Bedürfnisse von nierenkranken Kindern, Jugendlichen und deren Familien abzudecken. Darüber reden wir in dieser Podcast-Ausgabe. Zusammen mit Natasa Mitrovic, Präsidentin von Kids Kidney Care Schweiz und Prof. Dr. med.
