El ejército nacional entra en Madrid. </p> <p>Esa misma mañana, O’Dowd Gallagher, corresponsal del Daily Express británico, camina entre mares de banderas rojigualdas desde el Hotel Ritz a la Telefónica, en Gran Vía. En la Oficina de Prensa Extranjera sólo queda una mujer, que aprueba los boletines de Gallagher y desaparece. </p> <p>Es mediodía. Gallagher piensa en Chicote para el aperitivo. Pero, a la salida de la oficina, unos oficiales de prensa nacionales lo detienen y lo expulsan de España y de Chicote para siempre.</p> <p>Ha estallado la victoria.</p> <p><br> </p>
