Wie ist es, wenn das eigene Kind sich ganz anders verhält, als andere Kinder im gleichen Alter? Maria Vöckler hat es erlebt. Ihr Kind Luis (Name geändert) wollte schon mit drei Jahren lieber mit den Dingen spielen, die normalerweise eher Mädchen mögen. Besonders angetan war er von Elsa. Gespielt hat er auch lieber mit Mädchen. Maria hat sich dabei zunächst nichts gedacht – bis im Kindergarten der Satz fiel „Ich wünsche mir zu Weihnachten eine Scheide“. Inzwischen ist Luisa (Name geändert) neun Jahre alt und ein selbstbewusstes Mädchen. Und ihre Mutter hat das Erlebte in einem Buch verarbeitet, geschrieben von der Niederrhein-Journalistin Sara Schurmann: „Blau mit ganz viel Glitzer“ fasst die Geschichte der Familie zusammen und gibt Hintergrund-Wissen zum Leben mit einem Trans*Kind.
