Episode 36: Ship v. Control Water, Stacking Advantage, and One D&D

Today, the Court is FULL. OF. SASS. That's right, we have Sassociate Justices Stu and Tom joining us as they delight in marital bliss following their recent betrothal! Congrats, boysss!! Now, down to bussy-ness! Today, the Court considers the case of Ship v. Control Water, and Justice Joe steps into the shoes of Plaintiff seeking the Court's opinion on whether you can use the spell to create a "water cliff" and instantly destroy a ship at sea. We then head on over to Chamber Chat and consider the merits of an optional rule that would permit stacking advantage and disadvantage and using the winning result. And finally, we address the end of "editions" in D&D and the coming of our eventual supreme ruler, One D&D. Gavel gavel, henny! ++++++++ Have a rules dispute you want the Justices to address? Episode 35: In re Leomund's Tiny Hut, Light Source vs. Invisibility, emotions in-game

Well, you know what they say: Out with the old, in with the new!! As we say goodbye to one Elizabeth, another one joins us for court today!! That's right, Associate Justice Elizabeth is here to help the Court with some new cases! First, in In re Leomund's Tiny Hut, the Court considers what happens when you cast the spell in a space smaller than the spell's area of effect. Next, in Light Source vs. Invisibility, we put on our science pants, throw beakers at each other, and run some T-tests, because the only way to answer this question is with the power of FANTASY SCIENCE--when you cast invisibility and are holding a light source, does it still emit light?! And then, we doff our wigs and robes and settle into Chamber Chat, where we talk about getting into your character's/NPCs' emotions at the table. Court is in session! ++++++++ Have a rules dispute you want the Justices to address? Got a discussion topic for Chamber Chat? Want us to answer your questions?!
