RUTA 57. (1999) Hace unos meses conocí al amor de mi vida. La noche previa salí a pasar un rato y disfrutar unas bebidas con unos compañeros de trabajo. Entre risas, chistes y anécdotas perdí noción del tiempo de cuantas bebidas consumí, al sentirme ebrio decidí ir a mi casa, y descansar. Al siguiente día me di cuenta que mi cartera no estaba en mis pantalones, mi resaca desapareció solo de imaginar el estrés y las horas que tendría que pasar cancelando tarjetas de crédito, renovar identificaciones y el no saber cuanto dinero llevaba dentro. Después de un largo día decidí tomar un camión ya que solo contaba con unas pocas monedas que encontré en mi escritorio. Al subir a mi ruta me percaté de una mujer que me miraba tímidamente, ella iba acompañada de una pequeña que compartía sus ojos grises, su cabello negro y un lunar en la mejilla izquierda. Me sentí flechado con un cosquilleo en la piel, nervioso al sentir una atracción a primera vista. Mi única reacción fue bajar la mirada y disfrazar mis sentimientos con una mirada de indiferencia y desinterés. Mi oportunidad de iniciar una conversación duró unos escasos minutos, el camión hizo una parada y ella se levantó, cargó a aquella niña,colgó su mochila en su hombro mientras un nudo crecía en mi garganta, un nudo que no me permitía decirle que no se fuera, que me dijera su nombre,ofrecer encaminarla a su casa o intercambiar teléfonos. todo fue tan rápido que lo único que me queda es esa sonrisa coqueta que me brindó al bajar del camión, como si fuese un adiós guapo. Desde ese día tomó el mismo camión a la misma hora sin suerte alguna
