Episode 360: Real Talk 6-27-2026
There is never enough money for California projects. A Northern California town is "building" a 1/2 mile long walking trail with a pedestrian bridge over a creek along an existing flat railroad line. The estimated cost is $21 million and it is expected to take 5 years to complete. The LAX people mover to get traffic away from the airport is now 3 years past the scheduled completion date and has cost $3,3 billion so far for the 2.25 mile track. In simple math that is $285,000 per lineal foot. We discuss all of this and more on this week's Real Talk.

Episode 359: Real Talk 6-20-2026
As the numbers come in for the LA Mayors race the statistical improbability that Ramen out performed Bass in the late ballot counts without some type of ballot harvesting becomes evident. Are California home prices really still going up despite high interest rates? Does home ownership still make sense? We discuss all of this and more on this week's Real Talk. Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.
