#02 Een kinderstem in Zuid-Soedan
<p>In deze podcast gaat Simone Schoemaker, manager bij Red een Kind, in gesprek met Marian Heek en Esther Smit. Marian en Esther werken beiden bij Red een Kind. Marian als teamleider Communicatie en Esther als Advisor Child Development and Protection. </p><p>In deze aflevering nemen we je mee naar Zuid-Soedan. Een land waar kinderen elke dag te maken hebben met de constant dreiging van conflicten, natuurrampen en armoede. Het leven is hier extreem zwaar, er is honger en veel scholen zijn verwoest, waardoor kinderen niet kunnen leren en spelen in een veilige omgeving. Maar ook hier dromen kinderen over wat ze later willen worden en zijn ze heel leergierig. Simone, Marian en Esther zijn alledrie in Zuid-Soedan geweest en blikken samen terug op hun ervaringen. Ook bespreken ze de manier waarop Red een Kind door onder andere onderwijs een blijvende positieve impact probeert te maken op het leven van kinderen in het land. </p><p>www.redeenkind.nl </p><p><br></p>
