لا يختلف البيان الصادر عن المؤتمر المناخي الإقليمي الذي استضافته دولة الإمارات المتحدة يوم الرابع من شهر أبريل - نيسان عام 2021 عما دأبت عليه بيانات المؤتمرات الإقليمية أو الدولية المماثلة في ما يتعلق بسقف الطموحات والتذكير بأهمية العمل الجماعي للحد من الانبعاثات الحرارية والانخراط في منظومة الاقتصاد الأخضر. وهذا أمر محمود في المبدأ انطلاقا من أن كل مؤتمر يسلط الضوء على إشكالية التحدي المناخي هو مسعى مهم لإرساء قواعد وضوابط جديدة للعمل التنموي.

أين هو التحالف العربي ضد الكائنات الغازية؟
إذا كان كثير من خبراء التنمية في العالم العربي يشاطرون رأي أمين عام الأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش الذي ينزل التغير المناخي منزلة أهم تحد مطروح أمام الأسرة الدولية، فإنهم يقولون بشأن التحدي ذاته بالنسبة إلى المنطقة العربية إن أخطر ما فيه على الإنسان العربي وعلى بيئته الأرضية والبحرية هو ما يسمى " الكائنات الدخيلة" أو " الغازية". ومن خاصيات هذه الكائنات أنها تهاجر من مواطنها الأصلية عبر طرق متعددة إلى مواطن جديدة بحثا عن الغذاء وهربا من انعكاسات التغير المناخي
