An Initiation Through Sacred Union: Embodying the Heart-Led Leader

We met 3,000 years ago… Two souls destined to meet again and again in this life. But this meeting 3,000 years ago felt so similar to now. Recently I proposed to my now fiancé, Marena. I know! She said YES! It’s exciting, and it’s one of the greatest initiations of my life. I’ve just committed to something huge. Something that goes far beyond just me and her. This is destiny. This is soul purpose. This is a revolution in love…in Sacred Union. 3,000 years ago our souls came together (Watch the video to listen to this story). 3,000 years ago we came to Earth to show people something. We’ve been taught and shown for years that guidance can be found outside of ourselves. Whether it’s through political leaders, religious institutions, or gurus… It’s always the same. The answers and guidance for life are given to that which is outside of us. Our power as the spirit filled, soulful beings that we truly are has been stripped away from us. At least that’s what it seems like… 3,000 years ago in Greece, I found my past life self during a guided journey with Marena and a facilitator. I was on a stage trying to share my message. The only person I could see paying attention was the woman I knew to be my wife in that life and who I could feel to be the same soul as Marena of today. It was surreal and what really caught my attention was how she looked at me the same way she does today… She sees me fully… She sees my soul… She sees my heart. This journey was incredible, and it really helped me understand how life happens in cycles, and more importantly it showed me the importance of my mission… I’m here to lead a revolution in love and nature reconnection that will impact the next seven generations and beyond. I’m here to take a stand for love. I’m here to lead the way into the new paradigm that we all find ourselves transitioning into. This love story 3,000 years in the making is not just any love story… This is part of our shared mission… shared purpose. And our vision in Sacred Union is to build a foundation on solid ground that is rooted in authenticity, truth, and connection. Peeling back the layers and doing the work it takes to be authentically ourselves to the fullest. Speaking and expressing from our hearts to one another in the name of truth and love. Connecting deeply with God, ourselves, nature, and humanity. We are devoting ourselves to a life rooted in nature’s rhythms, guided by the wisdom of The Divine, and connected through the love that entwines us. This Sacred Union is an initiation in the fullest sense. I am committing to doing what it takes to fully devote myself to not only this union, but to God, Soul Purpose, and Heart-Led Leadership. The new paradigm humanity is entering into is one where we finally drop out of the mind that has us reacting and living from fear, shame, and guilt built upon from the wounds and traumas of our shared past and lived experience within a troubled society. We are transitioning into an age of heart-led leadership. An age of knowing how to lead one’s own life connected to heart. Connected to God. Connected to Humanity. Connected to nature… Connected to self. I know I am here to guide people into this paradigm and in order for me to do that, I must commit and devote myself to love. To God. To Purpose. There is no other way, and I know that my union with Marena is part of that mission. Part of my greater purpose in this life. So, in order for me to be able to hold and lead this revolution of love and lead others into their hearts, I must continue to develop and embody what it is to be a Heart-Led Leader. I have learned a lot along my journey. Through previous initiations I have heard the calling from God to lead this revolution. Through intimate work with land and nature I have felt my connection to Earth and her rhythms. Through deep inner work with my shadows, psyche, and parts I have understood the true nature of my being. And through my path in Norse Seidr, I have understood my role as a guide and healer that will usher others into this new paradigm. Starting March 21st on the spring equinox, I am stepping into a 3-month journey of embodying the hear-led leader, leading up to the day of our wedding on the Summer solstice. I am devoting myself even deeper to my practices in mind, body, and spirit. I am committing to deepening my relationship with Self, Spirit, and Nature through daily connection rituals. And I am committing to guiding others to do the same with me and teach what I already know. All of this is ultimately to expand my capacity to hold that which is my destiny. To be able to create a family with my beloved and create a legacy built upon authenticity, truth, and connection. I’m inviting you, the reader, to join me on this 3 month journey of embodying the heart-led leader and deepening our connection with our own internal guidance within our hearts where Earth and The Divine meet within. I’m leading a revolution of love and nature reconnection, and I want you to be a part of it. We all have a soul purpose in this life. We all have a gift to share. Medicine to give. Mine is holding space for people to slow down long enough to hear the truth and guidance of their own heart… Of Spirit… Of Soul. This path is open to anyone who feels the call, but not everyone will be ready. It is not easy to devote yourself to leading from the heart. It will challenge you. It will be uncomfortable. BUT It is worth it. I have only just begun to feel and experience the magnitude of what it means to truly lead and live life from the heart in deep connection with self, nature, and God. And I truly have so much love for Marena… Without her I would not have gotten to this state of being able to surrender and trust in the guidance of my heart and Spirit. She is a powerful mirror and ally in this life. I am here to be an ally for you as well in being able to take a stand for truth… For love… For purpose. I want you to feel the magnitude of your own being. I want you to be able to trust the wisdom of your own heart… Your own inner compass. I want you give your medicine to the world. Humanity needs us to take a stand. They need our magic. And I’m here to give it, no matter what it takes. I’m starting this journey March 21st, and If you’re ready, I want you there to walk side by side with me as we both deepen into our hearts and lead our lives from there with purpose and love. Turtle Medicine: A Rebellion in the Art of Slowing Down

Turtle speed is on repeat lately… My fiancé even found a turtle shell on our walk yesterday! I’ve never found a turtle shell in my life, but of course nature provides the messages needed at the right time. Lately I’ve found myself back in a spot where I’m wanting to try to rush and push through the challenges I’m facing. I can’t just rest… I’m lazy if I rest! I’m worthless if I’m not working hard and getting shite done! These are the old stories and beliefs that like to try and take over when the pressure is on. But I specifically committed myself to trusting in my inner guidance and the guidance of Creator and Spirit. I committed myself to letting go and trusting. This commitment has of course presented me with exactly the challenges I needed to be able to develop and deepen this trust. Over the past couple of years I’ve slowly been leaning into trusting my inner compass… My heart’s truth and the guidance of Creator in alignment with my Soul’s purpose… This past couple of months has been my ultimate test thus far, and more than ever I’m being asked to trust. Rest when I know I need to rest… Create when I know I need to create… Trust in the guidance I receive. And the only way I can hear and receive the guidance is by going turtle speed. When I slow down enough and get quiet enough, that is when I’m able to hear the messages and guidance coming through. I recorded the video above to share more of how I’ve been leaning into turtle speed and the challenges that come with it, how it has impacted my life and helped align me with my highest purpose, and how you can do the same. Give it a listen above and receive the gift of turtle medicine… 🐢 Resources & Ways to Connect * Free Monthly Heart Coherence Meetup: Join us on the first Thursday of every month for a free, live session. The Northern Path of Reconnection to Self, Nature, & God

Everywhere I look, I see disconnection —from our phones to our shoes, we are insulated from the Earth. This separation shows up as chronic disease, deep loneliness, and a profound lack of purpose . But there is a path back to yourself, back to connection, and back to your purpose . In this audio note, I share a deeply personal and magical process of "remembering" that is coming online for me right now. This is my "Northern Path." In this episode, you'll discover: My personal journey into SEIDR (Norse Shamanism) and what it means to work with the "magic" and subtle energies of nature . How reconnecting to Nature (Mother Earth), Self (Your Heart), and God (Creator) are not separate acts, but one profound path to your true, authentic self . The simple, powerful science of Grounding (Earthing) , sunlight , and fresh air and how they literally charge your cells and increase your energy. How this connection is the key to clearing your energetic channels, connecting to your heart as your filter for truth, and finally stepping into your purpose. Why this individual work is vital to sparking a collective revolution of love and nature reconnection for generations to come . Flow Over Force

Summary: In this personal audio note, I share a real-time pivot I'm making in my own life and spiritual practice. I explore the visceral difference between forcing a path and allowing myself to flow with the guidance of Spirit. I get vulnerable about my decision to let go of a public 65-day journaling commitment that felt meaningless, and what new, more potent practice has emerged in its place. This is a reflection on the courage it takes to listen, the wisdom in stillness, and how true preparation for leadership is often about creating spaciousness, not just completing tasks. This message is an invitation for you to look at your own life and ask: where am I forcing, and where can I allow myself to flow? In this audio note, I discuss: A visceral metaphor for understanding the feeling of Flow vs. Force. Why I'm letting go of my 65-day journaling commitment, even after three weeks of discipline. The difference between quitting and making a sacred pivot in alignment with a deeper mission. The signs and messages Spirit has been sending me to slow down, be still, and listen. My new morning practice of Ujjayi breath and how it’s creating the spaciousness I need to guide the upcoming solo fast. An invitation for you to reflect on where you might be forcing things in your own life. Key Reflections from this Episode: Sometimes, the most disciplined action is to let go of the plan and listen more deeply. The resistance you feel is an intelligent message from your body and spirit. It's an invitation to find a more aligned path. True preparation isn't always about "doing more." Often, it’s about creating stillness to become a better container for the work you're meant to do. You don't have to abandon structure entirely. The goal is to build a structure strong enough to allow for flow within it. The Container for Deep Listening: The journey I talk about in this audio note—slowing down, getting quiet in nature, and listening for a deeper truth—is the exact work we will be doing in the 24-Hour Solo Fast. It is the ultimate container for moving from a life of force to a life of flow. If this message resonates with you and you feel the call to find this clarity for yourself, I invite you to learn more and apply. ➡️ (https://athaven.org/solo-fast-initiation)Learn More & Apply for the 24-Hour Solo Fast (https://athaven.org/solo-fast-initiation) Get full access to Root-2-Nature Journeys at root2nature.substack.com/subscribe (https://root2nature.substack.com/subscribe?utm_medium=podcast&utm_campaign=CTA_4)

The Great Illusion: Why Scarcity Isn't Real

We've been taught to believe in limits, in lack. But the truth is, humans are the architects of their own scarcity. Have you ever felt constantly drained, isolated, or like you're fighting for every resource? That pervasive belief in scarcity is deeply ingrained in our society, leading to loneliness and depression. But what if I told you the scarcity we fear was never truly there? What if we are the ones creating it ourselves? In this powerful audio note, I dive into this profound illusion, revealing how our mindset of competition and extraction, even in agriculture, actually destroys the very systems that create abundance. You'll discover: Nature's True Blueprint: How the natural world operates on a "gift" economy, where resources never run out, but constantly cycle and regenerate in a sacred circle of reciprocity. The Energy Barrier: Why you won't be able to fully live into your unique gifts or even realize your true purpose if you're stuck in a stressed, survival state, lacking the energy needed to give. Your Inherent Drive to Give: We all have unique gifts meant to help one another, and finding the energy to give them brings immense fulfillment and helps create a beautiful reciprocal circle in our communities. The Revolution Begins With You: How healing yourself and getting out of survival mode provides the energy to shift focus from "all about me" to serving others, igniting a ripple effect of love and nature reconnection for future generations. Simple Steps to Reclaim Abundance: How small actions like getting outside and putting your bare feet on the grass can immediately shift your energy and reconnect you to the Earth's natural abundance. Witness how trees aren't fighting for light or air, and how animals and plants give to one another in a never-ending circle, unlocking even more abundance for the whole system when humans rejoin as caretakers. You have a unique magic, a powerful gift meant to help transform others and lead. But what happens when you know your purpose, but lack the energy or clarity to live it out? In this episode, you'll uncover: Why the world's suffering, from chronic disease to mental health crises, is a direct result of our deep disconnection from nature and our true human blueprint. How building a strong physical foundation of wellness creates the energy and space to heal deep wounds, listen to your intuition, and live a truly self-led life. The profound impact of simple, daily actions like getting your bare feet on the Earth, breathing deeply, and reconnecting with nature's energy to activate your unique gifts. THIS is NOT Okay

I'm calling you to witness the truth, feel the urgency, and reclaim the ancient power within you to heal yourself and ignite a revolution for generations to come. It is not okay where the world is at today. Look around… Chronic disease is rampantly on the rise, children are suffering with diabetes, and our elderly are losing their memories, often pushed aside in our society. People in their 20s are battling chronic pain, heart disease, and mental health struggles like depression, anxiety, and stress disorders that are eating at us. It’s a silent pandemic of suffering, and it is not okay. We have leaders who don't know how to truly care for themselves – mentally, spiritually, physically, or emotionally – and we are seeing the direct, terrifying results of that. We're being led further and further away from the very solution that I believe could turn this whole thing around. I usually don't dive into the state of the world like this, but this message is too vital to hold back. You don't have to suffer! That's not how we're meant to live. We weren't designed to merely hobble along, reliant on pills and external fixes. We were meant to know our purpose, to connect with our intuition and Spirit, and to live vibrant, fulfilled lives in powerful bodies. Take a moment if you haven’t already and listen to the audio message above. A message that is burning within me to get out! The Truth: We Are Nature. As you heard, the solution isn't some complex, distant answer. It's in the very name of my work: Root-2-Nature. It's about getting back to who we truly are as humans. It's understanding that we are not above nature; we are part of it. We are co-creators, born of this very Earth. For too long, we as a species – and our leaders – have been led to believe we are separate, that we have dominion over nature. And what's happened when we tried to play master? We are suffering. We've turned away from our own Mother, the very source that birthed us from its soils. Our ancestors, even imperfectly, understood this sacred union, this relationship. They didn't live in fear of nature; they understood its power and how to work with it. I truly believe the reason we've walked away from this connection is rooted in fear… Fear of confronting what nature mirrors back to us: our unexamined pains, our hidden fears, the shadows within us. We've been conditioned to just "keep working," "do what the system tells you," and repress everything. But that's not what I'm doing anymore. And I want you to understand: You don't have to suffer. You can feel purposeful, fulfilled, and break free from the chains of pain that have been holding you back. This profound shift, this healing, this reclaiming of our God-given purpose, begins with coming back to Nature. Your Power Awaits: Simple, Actionable Steps to Start Today This isn't some overnight transformation. It's a journey, and that's okay. But the first steps are powerful, and they are incredibly simple. Imagine: * Getting your bare feet on the soil. Feeling the Earth's charge as it literally feeds your cells, improving blood flow and vitality. * Breathing in true energy. Every breath brings electrically charged oxygen molecules, fueling your body at a cellular level. * Soaking up sunlight. Not just for Vitamin D, but for the vital energy that charges your being. * Moving your body with joy. Like climbing a tree, dancing, or simply playing – actions humans were meant to do. * Eating food that truly nourishes. Food that was born right here, locally, grown in co-creation with nature, not sprayed with poisons or shipped across oceans. * Reclaiming restorative sleep. Because your body is designed to regenerate powerfully, and modern interference is hijacking that process. This isn't about being perfect; it's about starting. It's about taking one step at a time to transform your health and body, aligning with who you were truly meant to be. I'm here to help you do that. Your Voice Matters: Join the Conversation, Spread the Truth. What did you get out of this message today? What inspired you? What questions sparked within you? I genuinely want to know. Connecting with other humans—that's how we collectively begin to heal. Hit reply, or leave a comment below. Let's connect, because I truly want to understand where you are and how I can best support your journey. And if this message resonated with you, if you feel that fire burning, please share this post. More and more people are suffering needlessly every day as we head further and further away from our roots – our ultimate life source – in nature. It's vital that this message continues to spread. Thank you for being here, for listening, and for having the courage to take a moment and question what’s really going on.
