<p>Akceptujemy piechurów przemierzających lasy, lodowce, pustynie, ale już nasze brwi układają się w zdziwienie na widok tych, którzy pieszo postanowili iść od miasta do miasta? Ola Synowiec i Arek Winiatorski, którzy przeszli Amerykę Łacińską i Stany Zjednoczone, a autostopem dojechali aż na koło podbiegunowe, pokonali na własnych nogach razem 7000 km, a sam Arek 11704 km. Ich relacje z podróży to historie pełne ciepła, radości życia i pochwały małych przyjemności. W fascynujący sposób opowiadali nawet o zrujnowanym kinie czy Światowym Centrum Karczocha, ale w drodze nie stronili też od uczuć i spotkań poważniejszych. W końcu poruszali się w tym samym kierunku co tysiące emigrantów z Ameryki Łacińskiej.</p> <p>W czasie swojej podróży wiele razy musieli tłumaczyć dlaczego odległość między Panamą a kołem podbiegunowym chcą pokonać pieszo, a nie „normalnie”.
