Podcast Overview

Part occult deep-dive. Part midlife companion. Entirely unlike anything else in your feed. There is a hidden structure beneath everything…beneath art, history, magic, memory, and the strange business of being alive. Bel explores psychic phenomenon, shamanism, esoteric history, and the hidden patterns governing life, then gets radically honest about what it means to be a woman in the middle of everything, reinventing herself in real time. This show is for the solitary woman building something strange and serious. The one who knows that wisdom gets stranger, richer, and more powerful with age. The one who has been sitting alone at the table, not because she doesn't belong, but because the right table hasn't existed yet. Consider this your table! Recorded between the chaos, the cacao, and the quiet moments she carved out for herself. New episodes weekly on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Substack and anywhere else that lightning strikes.

www.sacredmechanics.com

EP 22: Will He Leave His Wife?

Episode 22 is here — an archive piece, and one I think is overdue for a share. I’ve not published it because I think it is a very sensitive topic, and many may disagree with my ethical position regarding the role of a psychic, so here it goes!

Will He Leave His Wife? And Is He Cheating? The two questions I’ve been asked more than any others, by far. I talk through what I’ve actually observed: the men who cheat repeatedly because something in them is never satisfied, versus the ones for whom it simply isn’t in their nature, and why I believe, ethically, a psychic should never tell you outright that your partner is cheating. I also speak directly to the women who’ve fallen in love with someone unavailable — the stolen moments, the invisibility, those birthdays alone, the loneliness of being a secret. It’s hard, and I don’t pretend otherwise. But I also talk about what it means to choose yourself.

This one’s filmed from bed, in a full house with six kids between us, because some moments you just have to steal when you can.

Find me at sacredmechanics.com — on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Substack.

This is a public episode. EP 21: Seven Things I Learned the Hard Way (So You Don't Have To)

It's early Saturday morning, it's raining, and I'm in bed with my notebooks from the last four or five years — pulling out the best nuggets of genuine wisdom I've gathered across two decades of practice, study, and some very expensive lessons I'd rather you skipped.

Seven spiritual coaching gems. Each one could be its own episode. Today you're getting all of them.

These aren't in order of importance. They're not trending concepts or repackaged self-help. They're the things I keep coming back to — the ones that actually work, that I wish someone had handed me earlier, and that I'm still finding new layers in every time I return to them.

One of them will probably stop you mid-listen. That's the one to write down.

No makeup. In bed. Completely worth your time.

Find me at sacredmechanics.com — on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Substack.

This is a public episode. EP 20: Words Are Spells & Reality Is Lying To Me

Episode 20 is here, Sacred Mechanics has a new look!

Matrix Glitches — Three Stories — Are the glitches getting more frequent, or are we just finally paying attention? I share three recent domestic incidents with no reasonable explanation: a kitchen light that turned itself on mid-thought, a toilet roll that reversed direction in under ten seconds (yes, really), and a $50 Dan Brown hardcover that vanished and reappeared on a shelf I checked four times. My psychic teenage daughter is keeping a running log. So am I.

Sappho — The First Confessional — A deep dive into the ancient poet of Lesbos who wrote desire from the inside out and whose voice refused to be deleted across 2,600 years. I trace the thread from Sappho through Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Audre Lorde, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Hope Sandoval, Lana Del Rey, and Mitski. Words are spells, and spells are hard to break.

What does it mean if everything is an illusion and the illusion is starting to show its seams?

New moon in Aries. Seven planets stacked. The reinvention is official.

Share your own glitch stories in the comments — I genuinely want to hear them.

Find me at sacredmechanics.com — on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Substack.

This is a public episode.
