Digital and Media Literacy in the Age of the Internet. A valuable guide for digital media educators

Mary Beth Hertz, a graduate of Oberlin College, has spent 15 years teaching students from kindergarten through high school. With 12 years of experience teaching a tech- related curriculum, Mary Beth has an insider's knowledge of students' online lives. Mary Beth is the Cofounder of Edcamp for the Teachers Tech meetup in Philadelphia, and was recognized by ISTE with a Teacher of the Year award in 2013. Her book, Digital and Media Literacy in the Age of the Internet, is a labor of love based on the curriculum she designed alter discovering nothing was available that was current enough or met the needs of what she was seeing in the classroom.
