E005 - Dool (@Pinkpop)
Interview with Dool, recorded on the Sunday of Pinkpop 2024.
In the Netherlands, you might almost forget that media personality Raven van Dorst also sings in an internationally successful rock band. DOOL emerged in 2015 from Raven’s project Elle Bandita and the notorious The Devil’s Blood. After the highly acclaimed debut “Here Now, There Then,” DOOL’s second album “Summerland” reached the top 10 in Germany in 2020. The quintet has extensively toured Europe multiple times. DOOL creates a dark yet melodious blend of progressive rock, metal, and post-rock. Even on the new album “The Shape Of Fluidity,” they don’t watch the clock in the compelling rock songs with consistently smooth guitar work. DOOL is for true rock and metal connoisseurs!

E004 - the K's (@Pinkpop)
Interview with the K's, recorded on the Sunday of Pinkpop 2024.
The K’s hail from the charming North English village of Earlestown, situated squarely between Liverpool and Manchester. This gives a good indication of the music the quartet produces: The K’s deliver clever guitar pop songs with quickly singable choruses that you can often dance to as well. Britpop enthusiasts, consider yourselves warned!

E003 - Henry Moodie (@Pinkpop)
Interview with Henry Moodie, recorded on the Sunday of Pinkpop 2024.
At only 14 years old, British Henry Moodie starts posting covers of Sam Smith on social media. They are so well-received that he becomes a star with millions of followers on TikTok. But he can do more: his self-written and produced debut single “You Were There For Me” becomes a massive hit in 2022. The now 19-year-old singer still records his ‘bedroom pop’ at home and continues to impress on stage. We are very curious about Henry!

The Canadian singer-songwriter's music stands out for its mix of alternative pop and indie rock with a touch of R&B, but above all for Ruby's raw soul voice. After successful tours through Canada and the US, it is now high time that Europe gets to know this great talent.
