<p>This week Ali is joined by Dr Anna Redding the co-founder and director of Avenue Therapies. She is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, accredited EMDR therapist and Executive coach.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Anna has worked in the NHS and public sector since 2004. She has trained in multiple different approaches including therapy, coaching and leadership. She has focused her career in helping those with severe mental health difficulties specialising in trauma.</p> <p><br></p> <p>In 2015, Anna along with two colleagues started Avenue Therapies. They now have a community of over 50 therapists providing gold standard evidence-based assessments and therapy to individuals, couples and families.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Dr Anna has a growing passion for ensuring people get the right help in the right way, she supports organisations and leaders to work in a Trauma-Informed way, through training and consultation. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Today we will be digging deeper into trauma informed ways, trauma in the workplace, burn out and what we can do to improve well-being in the workplace.</p> <p><br></p> <p>It's a great opportunity to listen to an industry expert who is deeply passionate about what they do. <p>This week we have a special treat just before Christmas to help you overcome that anxiety and feel more empowered. Therapist, author and podcast host Aylin Webb joined Ali to ensure you can go into the new year feeling your best. </p> <p>Aylin shared her colourful history beginning in Istanbul and the suppression she experienced, we dug deeper into the power of EMDR and covered lots of other ground especially around empowerment. A wonderful lady. <p>It was great to have Ali back behind the podcast mic today. This week we have a really intersting chat with Dr Jason Chan. We talked about attachment styles, the impact of childhood experiences on emotional wellbeing and growth, recovery from major trauma and mind-body connection… and there is a thread of spirituality throughout. We hope you enjoy it. </p> <p> Dr Jason Chan, is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in adult mental health, looking through the lens that focuses on the purpose or growth made possible by mental health crises and general life struggles. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Jason is the clinical director and co-founder of Zenith Psychology, a private mental health service provider and a growing network of mental health professionals with a core ethos of making growth, beyond well-being and adjustment, the objectives of any work with individuals and organisations. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Outside his private practice, he has led multiple psychological services for patients with long-term heart and lung conditions and traumatic brain injuries within the NHS. Jason is also a practising neuropsychologist and promotes an integration of knowledge on neurocognitive (brain) and emotional (mind) disorders in the complex journey of rehabilitation from brain injuries. </p> <p> </p>
