阿姆坪生態園區坐落於桃園大溪區，位於石門水庫中游右岸。來到阿姆坪渡船頭遠眺便能看見，仍有20多戶居民的薑母島，島上有著守護這片土地的百年土地公，從土地公廟望向遠方山頭，就像是一座金元寶山；尤其在夕照時分陽光灑落於湖面，金光閃閃的景色讓人目眩神迷，許多人便來此虔誠參拜，祈求財運順利。 而近年隨著水上活動興起，從選手的教育培訓到休閒觀光發展，讓北橫的精彩可以水陸兩棲。

高空彈跳，是許多人的人生夢想清單之一，而北橫公路多橋的特性，也讓這裡成為台灣高空彈跳的大本營，除了知名的復興橋外，另外巴陵橋以及跳下距離最高65公尺的三光大橋，是合法及安全可以進行高空彈跳的地點。 每座橋因為山川的環境景色不同，躍下的感受也完全不一樣，從事高空彈跳活動20多年經驗的王巨臺教練，透過不同主題的活動設計，吸引許多勇於挑戰自我的人，讓北橫的絕美的自然景色可以有更精彩且刺激的觀賞方式。

落實食農教育，不只是觀念推廣，更重要的是讓人真實的踏在這片土地上，觀察植物的生長、除草施肥、最後親手採摘下成為食物；除了對食物有更深的了解之外， 更重要的是，會懂得更珍惜食物。 復興區因為有豐富的自然資源及海拔樣態，一年四季都有適合不同節令的作物在此生長，是桃園重要的食物寶庫，而「復興食農」由一群熱愛土地及作物的青年組成，以食農教育推廣為核心，藉由務農課程或是農場參訪等內容，連結北橫地區的校園以及農家，持續傳遞食與土地、食與生活、食與育樂等理念。
