<p>Nachdem zwischen Aufnahme und Veröffentlichung von Episode 5 ein paar Tage vergangen sind und sich die Aktivismus-Welt wieder ein Stück weiter gedreht hat, haben wir uns zu einem kurzen akustischen Nachtrag entschlossen - nicht zuletzt auch, weil wir uns lange nicht sicher waren, wie wir diese Episode betiteln wollen. Was macht Sprache mit unserem Denken? Und warum ist Rassismus eben nicht das Problem von uns allen?</p>

Ep. 5.1 - Solidarität reicht nicht!
<p>Die letzten Wochen waren heftig. Proteste rund um den Tod der Afro Amerikaner George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade und vieler anderer durch Polizeigewalt sind ausgebrochen und haben die Welt, und uns, wach gerüttelt. Auch in Österreich ist Rassismus trauriger Alltag: An dieser Stelle möchten wir an Marcus Omofuma, Seibane Wague oder Bakary J erinnern und auch daran, dass nur ein paar hundert Kilometer von der österreichischen Grenze entfernt Menschen auf der Flucht vor Krieg und in lebensbedrohlichem Elend leben, und Polizeigewalt und behördlicher Willkür schutzlos ausgeliefert sind.</p> <p>Und auch wenn wir uns selbst nicht als Rassisten bezeichnen würden: Wir sind Förderer des Rassismusproblems wenn wir nicht aktiv anti-rassistische Arbeit leisten. Wir sind Erhalter eines Systems, das bewusst unterdrückt und sogar tötet: Sich die Verantwortung einzugestehen tut erst mal weh aber das darf uns nicht aufhalten. Nicht so lange Menschenleben auf dem Spiel stehen.</p> <p>In diesem Sinne wollen wir dazu aufrufen, den Frauen zu folgen, die ihr Leben der Anti-Rassismus Arbeit gewidmet haben – kauft ihre Bücher, hört ihnen zu, lernt von ihnen. Ep.4 – Was haben Nirvana, Aktivismus und Yoga gemeinsam?
<p><strong>„You can't pour from an empty cup!“</strong> – dieses britische Sprichwort sollte auch in die österreichischen Hirne fließen. „Vo nix kumt nix“ könnte eine trockene Übersetzung lauten. Denn egal ob an der „Corona-Front“ oder vor dem Bildschirm daheim: Aufopfernde Arbeit geht an die körperliche und geistige Substanz. Als Einzelpersonen und als ganze Gesellschaft täten wir gut daran, neben politischer Partizipation auch Konzepte wie regenerativen Aktivismus mitzudenken. In dieser Episode spannen wir Bögen zwischen Popkultur und (Medien-)Politik.</p>
