Difference between G(universal gravitational constant )and g (acceleration due to gravity)
Value of G is constant whereas the value of small g changes from place to place as earth is not a perfect sphere. Its radius at poles is smaller than that at equator,so the value of g is more at poles than that of equator as the g is inversly proportional to the radius. At the centre of earth the value of g becomes zero.

Free Fall - Part 4 (Gravitation )
Free Fall - A free falling body is a body when it falls from a particular height only under the action of gravitational force of earth.Lets summarize:2 As the object falls towards the ground then its velocity increases continuously. 2.Acceleration on the free falling body due to the gravity of earth is called the acceleration due to gravity.3.Acceleration of the object in case of free falling body does not depend upon the mass of the object.

Gravitation
Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation:Sir Issac Newton in 1687 proposed a law about the force of attraction between the two objects in the universe which is called law of gravitation.

Chapter- Gravitation Sub topic: universal law of gravitation and its importance.
The force of attraction between any two bodies in the universe is called gravitational force .Newton's proposed the universal law of gravitation and showed that the gravitational force between two masses varies inversly proportional to the square of the distance between them. This fact was proved by him on the basis of Keplers laws of planetary motion. The mathematical expression of universal law of gravitation is: F= G m1m2/r2
