緊急症例の相談を受けて対応した事で、動物病院専属を離れたフリーランスの動物看護師に必要なスキルはだいぶ変わることに改めて気付いた1週間でした。皆さんは、獣医師も他の動物看護師も、そして医療用具もない中で辛い思いをしている動物、そしてそのオーナーさんに対して何ができると思いますか？色んな手立てや方法がない中でも動物看護師だから出来ることがあると教えてもらいました。応急処置法、動物病院とのコミュニケーション、情報の探し方…どれも持っているべき大事なリソースだと改めて感じました。

昨日の朝、仕事で向かった先でリードを引きずりながら歩いているワンちゃんを発見！追いかけて何とか追いつき、リードを持ったらすんなり付いてくる人慣れしたおりこうさん。首輪もリードも鑑札も狂犬病予防注射済票も付いてる。でも迷子札はなく、お名前も連絡先も分からない。今日は日曜日で行政施設はどこも休み…という状況で保護したら皆さんはどうしますか？今回は昨日の朝から今朝にかけて、私が経験した事を基にみなさんにも是非お考え頂きたいと思い、ポッドキャストに載せました。皆さんだったらどう対応されますか？皆さんの地域ではどんな方法で迷い犬•猫などの保護や飼い主さん探しをしていますか？宜しければ参考の為にも是非コメントをInstagramにお寄せ下さい。
