King of the Ekka - Ron Johnson
<p>In this episode, I will be the first and only person who has created a podcast of Queensland’s Greatest Side-car Racer known as “King of the Ekka” and “Big Bad Johnno” – Ron Johnson. I will be also the first and only person to be writing a Biography Book about Ron speedway career and life story. I have a big blue book filled with original articles and photos since the 1950s, she’s defiantly a fragile book, that weighs 4kgs but is filled with greatness. Johnson was also known for being Australia’s biggest and tallest Speedway Rider during the 1950s till 1980s, they even referred to him as the “Godfather of Speedway” in the 1980’s after his 30 years of Racing and he retired from Speedway. I will also be talking about his childhood and life behind the speedway curtain. Also, the untold story of his life after Speedway after he vanished when he retired. I am writing a biography book about his 30 years in speedway. I will be publishing the book “King of the Ekka: Ron Johnson” in 2022, it will have photos of the races, motorbikes, hot rods, newspaper articles from the ’50s till the ’80s and more! How I grew up on a yacht for 13 years
<p>In this episode, I will be doing a solo podcast about how I grew up on a yacht for 13 years. Sailing from a town called Gove in Australia to the Philippines and back multiple times for the course of 13 years. I will share the stories about all the amazing people I have met in the Philippines and some crazy stories about how we almost died at sea. I will also be sharing where I grew up and who I am as a person. It is a very heart-touching topic for me and I had to have the courage to speak up to share my story about my life.
