The Savory Life Series: God's Good | Matthew 6:25–34
What keeps you awake at night? The uncertainty of tomorrow? Financial pressures? Family concerns? The fear of things beyond your control?
Worry has a way of stealing today's joy by filling our hearts with tomorrow's troubles. But in Matthew 6:25–34, Jesus invites us to experience something different: a life rooted in confidence in God's goodness.
In this message from Village Church of Lincolnshire, we explore three powerful truths that help us overcome worry:
God values you and notices you. You are never overlooked or forgotten by your Heavenly Father.
Put God's Kingdom first. When we pursue His righteousness above everything else, we learn to trust His provision.
Be relentless about rooting out worry. Through worship, thanksgiving, remembering God's promises, and taking steps of obedience, we can learn to replace fear with faith.
Jesus never promised a life without struggles, but He reminds us that we never face those struggles alone.
Big Idea: Trusting God's goodness helps us eliminate the need to worry.
