Ep 19: Diary of an NQT with Amy Perry

Back in Episode 11 we met Amy Perry, an NQT who graduated from the University of South Wales and now working in her first teaching role! We wanted to follow Amy through her first year in teaching, tracking the highs and low and all the things she learns along the way. Well she's back! Amy joined Scott to catch up on the first term, what's gone well and what she found hard! Amy also shares some pieces of advice she would give to future NQTs for their first term. Scott and Mrs H do not like interviews! Simple as that! However, they both know that interviews are necessary and unavoidable to secure a new teaching job! In this episode we share our experiences and give useful tips for anybody getting ready for an interview. Mrs H also shares some inside knowledge as she has interviewed as a Governor previously, and Scott shares his knowledge of being an interviewer in a previous career.
