Hennes arbeider lyser i blått og med mindre kontraster. Vi kan tydelig se at tenkningen fra glasskunsten også er tilstede i hennes malerier. Hunhar nylig utgitt en diktsamling med illustrasjoner, der glassarbeidene er gjengitt. I dette intervjuet leser hun opp flere av diktene sine.</p>

<p>Liv Benedicte Nielsen, født 1938, er en norsk maler, tegner og grafiker som bor og jobber på Ekely i Oslo.</p> <p>Liv Benedicte Nielsen har gjennom et langt og aktivt kunstnerliv hatt bortimot 100 separatutstillinger og deltatt på mange juryerte utstillinger. Hun har hatt utsmykningsoppdrag og illustrert bøker. Hun fikk garantiintekt som billedkunstner. Hun er kjent for sin dels naive dels ornamentale stil. Hennes mange turer til Italia og særlig Assissi har inspirert og preget hennes liv og arbeid. Som troende katolikk har Frans av Assissi vært en spirituell kilde for henne. Mange setter stor pris på bildene hennes.</p> <p><br></p>
