Van Gogh, van mens tot kunstenaar
<p>Vincent Van Gogh ... We hoeven z'n naam maar te horen of onze hoofden stromen vol beelden. Een diepblauwe nacht waarin heldere sterren wervelen, een paar zonnebloemen in een vaas of een man met een afgesneden oor ... Maar de gedoemde schilder met een moeilijke jeugd en een leven vol beproevingen – zowel voor hemzelf als voor zijn naasten – was niet altijd het postimpressionistische genie dat wij kennen. Voordat hij schilder werd, was hij een jonge evangelist die op een sneeuwachtige winterdag zijn koffers uitpakte in de mijnstreek van de Borinage, een van de eerste industriële regio's van Europa.</p><p>U vindt nog meer informatie op onze website, visitmons.nl.</p>
