Christie's debutta nel mercato della crypto art - Battuta a 70 milioni l'opera di Beeple
Il mercato dell’arte da qualche mese ha un nuovo termine nel proprio vocabolario: Nft, acronimo di Not Fungible Token. E' la prima volta che una grande casa d'aste mette all'incanto un'opera senza nessuna componente fisica. Un’opera digitale di crypto art va per la prima volta all’asta da Christie’s e il martello del battitore si ferma a oltre 60 milioni di dollari, una cifra da primato che fa del suo autore il terzo artista vivente più valutato del mondo dopo Jeff Koons e David Hockney. L’acquirente ancora anonimo ha poi finito per pagare 69,3 milioni di dollari compresi i diritti d’asta per “The Last 5000 Days”, un monumentale file JPG di Beeple, (vero nome Mike Winkelmann).
