<p>What Tholkaapiyam, the oldest tamil scripture available has to say about marriage and types of marriages!</p> <p>தமிழில் கிடைத்த நூல்களுள் பழமையான நூல் தொல்காப்பியம், மனங்கள் இணையும் மணத்தினைப் பற்றி பாடியது காண்போம்!</p> <p><strong>களவியல் பாடல்கள்:</strong></p> <p>இன்பமும் பொருளும் அறனும் என்றாங்கு <br> அன்பொடு புணர்ந்த ஐந்திணை மருங்கின் <br> காமக் கூட்டம் காணும் காலை <br> மறையோர் தேஎத்து மன்றல் எட்டனுள் <br> துறை அமை நல் யாழ்த் துணைமையோர் இயல்பே.</p> <p>ஒன்றே வேறே என்று இரு பால்வயின் <br> ஒன்றி உயர்ந்த பாலது ஆணையின் <br> ஒத்த கிழவனும் கிழத்தியும் காண்ப <br> மிக்கோன் ஆயினும் கடிவரை இன்றே.</p> <p>சிறந்துழி ஐயம் சிறந்தது என்ப <br> இழிந்துழி இழிபே சுட்டலான.</p> <p>வண்டே இழையே வள்ளி பூவே <br> கண்ணே அலமரல் இமைப்பே அச்சம் என்று <br> அன்னவை பிறவும் ஆங்கண் நிகழ <br> நின்றவை களையும் கருவி என்ப.</p> <p>நாட்டம் இரண்டும் அறிவு உடம்படுத்தற்குக் <br> கூட்டி உரைக்கும் குறிப்புரை ஆகும்.</p> <p>குறிப்பே குறித்தது கொள்ளும் ஆயின் <br> ஆங்கு அவை நிகழும் என்மனார் புலவர். </p> <p><strong>கற்பியல் பாடல்கள்:</strong></p> <p>கற்பு எனப்படுவது கரணமொடு புணரக் <br> கொளற்குரி மரபின் கிழவன் கிழத்தியை <br> கொடைக்குரி மரபினோர் கொடுப்ப கொள்வதுவே.</p> <p>பொய்யும் வழுவும் தோன்றிய பின்னர் <br> ஐயர் யாத்தனர் கரணம் என்ப.</p> <p><strong>திருக்குறள்கள்:</strong></p> <p>ஊடுதல் காமத்திற்கு இன்பம் அதற்குஇன்பம்<br> கூடி முயங்கப் பெறின். (1330)</p> <p>பெண்ணின் பெருந்தக்க யாவுள கற்பென்னும்<br> திண்மைஉண் டாகப் பெறின். (54)</p> <p>கண்களவு கொள்ளும் சிறுநோக்கம் காமத்தில்<br> செம்பாகம் அன்று பெரிது. (1092)</p> <p>கண்ணொடு கண்இணை நோக்கொக்கின் வாய்ச்சொற்கள்<br> என்ன பயனும் இல.
