Dalilla Hermans
<p>In de <a href="https://www.whytheatre.eu/nl/from-podcast/" target="_blank">tweede aflevering</a> is Dalilla Hermans aan het woord. Zij maakte in februari 2020 met Her(e) haar debuut als theatermaker bij NTGent. Daarvoor ging ze met een dertigtal zwarte vrouwen een weekend in afzondering. Op basis van de gesprekken schreef ze een tekst over hun leven in België. Over uitdagingen en hoop, werk en theater, familie en sisterhood. Nu is ze terug met <a href="https://www.ntgent.be/nl/producties/nn-dalilla-jong" target="_blank">Us, (k)now</a>, een productie van hetpaleis & NTGent </p> <p><a href="https://www.ntgent.be/nl/ensemble/dalilla-hermans" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Dalilla Hermans</a> (°1986) is schrijfster en vaste columniste bij De Standaard. In 2014 schreef ze een tekst over haar ervaringen met racisme in Vlaanderen. Hermans heeft er een missie van gemaakt polarisatie te overstijgen en op zoek te gaan naar dialoog tussen mensen, ongeacht hun origine.</p> <p>De muziek uit de aflevering komt uit Her(e) en werd gemaakt door Willem Blontrock.</p>

<p>In deze eerste aflevering illustreert acteur Bert Luppes zijn eigen waarom aan de hand van persoonlijke mijmeringen en anekdotes. </p> <p>Bert Luppes volgde een opleiding aan de Toneelacademie van Maastricht, waar hij nu zelf lesgeeft. Hij was één van de oprichters van toneelgroep het Vervolg en ontving tweemaal de Louis d’Or. Bij NTGent was hij al te zien in Platonov (regie Luk Perceval), Orestes in Mosul (regie Milo Rau) en Yellow (regie Perceval). </p> <p>De muziek uit de aflevering komt uit Yellow en werd gemaakt door Sam Gysel.</p>
