思いつきで中学生のころの推しに会える時代
<p>中学生のころ、帰宅部仲間のカリナと私は趣味が似ていて、二人でいろんな音楽を聴いていた。ラルクアンシエルは特に当時大好きだったバンドのひとつだ。中学生の私は都会へコンサートに行くお金なんてもちろん無く、彼らのような有名バンドが長崎の田舎町までライブに来てくれることもないため、私たちはひたすらCDを聴いて、VHSに録画したMステの動画を何度も再生し、期末テスト最終日には放課後カラオケに行って、推しの曲を何時間も歌うことだけが楽しみだった。</p><p><br></p><p>そんな十代の頃の推しのこともすっかり忘れ、社会の荒波に揉まれ、すっかり中年になった私の元へ、アルゴリズムのいたずらがラルクを連れてきた。こうやって私のラルク熱は、ひょんなことから再燃することに。</p><p><br></p><p>なんということでしょう。思いつきの気まぐれでも、今ならサクッとライブのチケットを取って会いに行けるなんて。数十年の時を経て、当時の推しに初めて会うことができそうです。</p>

<p><strong>「私、ポッドキャストばしたかとさ！」 </strong></p> <p><br></p> <p>直実はそう言って、食べかけのスイカバーを口いっぱいに咥えると、両手をテーブルについて机の上にのぼった。スムーズに足が上がるイメージだったが、骨のなる音は隠せず、太ももの付け根はピリッと痛んだが、顔に出さなかった。</p> <p>口に咥えたスイカバーを一旦出して、向かいの壁にある姿見に映る自分に向かって強めの口調でこう付け加えた。</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>「家で1日中パジャマば着てからだいとも喋らんでインターネットばっかりしよったらほうれい線がどんどん深くなるやろ！ポッドキャストがよかっちゃなかね？」</strong></p> <p><br></p> <p>そう言うと直実は残りのスイカバーを一気に食べ終え、一旦テーブルの上にしゃがみこみ、後ろ向きで恐る恐る左のつま先から床へ伸ばし、じんわりと降りた。ポケットからiPhoneを取り出し、何かを決意したような顔つきでゆっくりと録音ボタンをタップしたのだ。</p>
