Before we dive into this journey together, let me tell you a little about myself. <br /><br />I am a survivor—of child abuse and domestic violence. My childhood was marred by the absence of love, safety, and belonging. I felt invisible, unheard, and too often, I was lost in a storm of neglect and pain. These experiences shaped how I viewed myself, relationships, and the world around me. <br /><br />As I grew older, I found myself in a relationship that seemed to offer what I had always sought—connection, care, and security. But the reality was far from what it seemed. Beneath the surface lurked the shadows of domestic violence, an oppressive cycle that left me feeling trapped and voiceless. <br /><br />The journey to break free and heal has been arduous. It’s meant confronting the deep scars left by years of trauma, but here I am, standing before you not as a victim, but as a warrior. <br />I want  to create a safe haven for survivors. This is a space where stories can be shared, resources can be accessed, and a community can be built—a community that understands, uplifts, and empowers.<br /><br />In each episode, we’ll explore the intricacies of trauma, the ongoing challenges of recovery, and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. We’ll delve into the psychological impacts of abuse, share tools and strategies for healing, and celebrate the victories—big and small—that come with reclaiming your life.<br /><br /> I will share my stories, lessons, and the hard-earned hope that sustains me. We’ll also invite guests—survivors, experts, advocates—to provide diverse perspectives and insights.<br /><br />Let me be clear: *We Are Warriors* is not just a podcast; it’s a call to action. It’s about breaking the silence, challenging stigma, and offering strength to those who may feel they’ve lost it.
