Participatie van Jongeren in Lokaal Beleid
Jongeren staan aan de rand van volwassen worden en verantwoordelijkheid. Maar vaak hebben ze weinig tot niets te zeggen. Hoe geven we jongeren de kans om deel te nemen aan het maatschappelijke debat en mee te bepalen over de dingen die invloed hebben in hun leven? Tijdens deze wetenschapsbar ligt de focus op jongerenparticipatie op allerlei mogelijke manieren: Van participatie aan het lokaal beleid via een innovatieve tools (Brugge baas) tot het opzetten en ondersteunen van eigen projectideeën van jongeren (#dienaamgaanzezelfwelbepalen). Ook wordt er ingezoomd op de politieke participatie van jongeren bij de toekomstige verkiezingen ('t Is aan u! en T'is aan widder). We spreken met: Griet Vanwynsberghe, Helena Calleeuw en Evelien De Pauw van VIVES onderzoeksgroep ‘people & society’, met Hermelinde Hooft van De Ambrassade , Hannes Vanmeenen van Stad Kortrijk en Manon Dufoe van Stad Brugge.
