<p>Malcolm Joseph has a musical career that has seen him worth with some of the biggest and most ground breaking artists on Planet Earth. As a bass player he has held the groove for Massive Attack, Neneh Cherry and the UBER star that is Grace Jones.</p> <p>Malcolm is also an educator and when the pandemic hit, was in the US setting up a music education facility in New Jersey.</p> <p>I talk to Malcolm about how this pandemic has affected his livelihood and how he has managed to keep the 'wolf from the door.' Malcolm also shares his desires for a more engaged return to work when love events finally happen. He believes that whilst this break has been incredibly challenging, it may help audiences to re-assess their experience with gigs and festivals and enable them to immerse themselves in the moment more as opposed to just filling their Insta feeds.</p> <p>Oh, and there is a bit of bass guitar nerdery in there for good measure - because that is what happens when two bass players are left in a Zoom room for longer than five minutes.</p> <p>Peace, happiness and stay safe.</p> <p>Enjoy.
