<p>Welcome to this special conversation with Didi Bertrand Farmer, Founder and President of <a href="https://womenandgirlsinitiative.org/">The Women and Girls Initiative</a>.</p> <p>The Women and Girls Initiative is a very special Life-Changing mission that was founded by Didi in 2008 as a pilot program to support over 400 disadvantaged adolescent girls and young women in two different post-disaster and conflict contexts: Rwanda after the 1994 genocide and Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.</p> <p>Didi is a dynamic and visionary woman that wears a lot of hats, she is a:</p> <ul> <li>Human Rights Activist<br> </li> <li>Community Leader<br> </li> <li>Champion of Women and Young Girls<br> </li> <li>She’s also a Strategist for Gender and Adolescent Youth Health and Development for Partners In Health also known as PIH.<br> </li> </ul> <p>In this conversation we dive deeper into the story of Didi and her advocacy work.
