<p>Using two journals from Firestone Library, <a href="https://hum-331-princeton.github.io/manifest-destiny/">Hope and Sophie explore</a> the impact of gender on Manifest Destiny and westward emigration. Featuring the journals of <a href="https://findingaids.princeton.edu/catalog/C0140_c65810-06143">Nellie Martin Wade</a> and <a href="https://dpul.princeton.edu/pudl0017/catalog/qr46r491g">Thomas Adams</a>. </p> <p>-</p> <p>This episode was written by Hope Perry and Sophie Goldman and produced by Hope Perry as a part of a final project for <a href="https://hum-331-princeton.github.io/">HUM 331: A History of Words</a> at Princeton University.
