Write Together is a podcast focused on turning writers into authors and amateur screenwriters into showrunners. Hosted by David McGuinness, the show will feature regular guests, including published authors and TV and film industry writers. You'll also hear lots about the work David is doing on his own projects - screenplays and novels.
The final episode of Write Together, with explanations for why three author interviews didn't happen and my reasons for moving into a different type of podcast. Thanks for listening during the short journey of Write Together.

Write Together: Screenplay Competitions - should you bother?
In this episode of Write Together, Dave first openly weeps at his failure to get his script finished in time for the BBC's comedy script bursary competition (damn you, Final Draft!) but then moves on to discussing screenplay competitons.
There are a lot of these competitions out there, happy to take your entry fee because you think, if you win, you'll get a rep and become a fully fledged writer for TV or features. That's not quite right, as we find out in this episode. Feedback always welcome. Please do share the love, if you have it, for this podcast by letting your people know about it.
And hello to Podomatic! The new home of Write Together.
