「行政長官表揚榜」是本屆政府新設立的特殊榮譽，定期公開表揚優秀而且具示範作用的公務員團隊或人員，激勵公務員不斷求進，並讓公眾更清楚認識政府的工作及公務員團隊優秀的面貌。 經過遴選委員以及行政長官詳細考慮，首屆「行政長官表揚榜」由前赴土耳其地震災區協助搜救工作的香港特別行政區救援隊獲得。 救援隊隊伍一行59人，由消防處副消防總長于文陽率領，成員包括49名消防處坍塌搜救專隊人員，當中包括消防、救護與工程組人員，以及保安局、入境事務處及衞生署人員。隊員臨危受命，帶同兩隻搜救犬，以及約八噸重的救援工具深入災區，冒着生命危險執行救援任務，成功救出了四名倖存者。
