Yahya Ebad

About Yahya Ebad

Yahya Abbad, also spelled Yahya ‘Abbad or Yehya Abbad, is a contemporary Quran reciter from Iraq recognized for his effortless and spiritually engaging murattal-style delivery in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah. His renditions of complete surahs such as Ya-Sin, Al-Hashr, and At-Takwir are celebrated for their fluid pacing, clear Tajwīd, and emotive resonance—qualities that make his recitations deeply reflective and prayer-suitable. He regularly appears on public platforms and mosque livestreams, showcasing a somber yet uplifting tone that draws listeners into contemplation. Though detailed information about his upbringing or formal Tajwīd education is not widely available, his consistent presence in high-quality recitation videos and audio playlists indicates traditional training and respect within the Iraqi recitation community.
