Yahya Hawbani

About Yahya Hawbani

Yahya Hawbani, also spelled Yahya Al-Hawbani or Yahya Hawbani, is a Quran reciter from Saudi Arabia noted for his murattal recitation in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah. He memorized the Qur’an and has recordings of longer surahs like Az-Zumar and Ghafir, which reflect his steady pacing, clear Tajwīd, and devotional tone. His work is featured in respected Islamic audio collections, including listings on Arabic platforms that confirm his origin and proficiency in classical recitation techniques. Listeners appreciate his composed style and methodical delivery, making his recitations suitable for both prayer and personal memorization.
