<p>1899年，張壽臣出生在西交民巷小四眼井，五歲隨父在隆福寺、護國寺等地說相聲。 八歲上學。 十一歲時由於喪父，中途輟學，正式以說相聲為業。 十二歲拜焦德海為師，張的拜師為相聲又延續了一代新人。 學藝期間，張壽臣學會了大量節目，出演即紅，時人謂之"娃娃紅"。 十五歲滿藝出師，演出於西安市場、護國寺等明地。 隨年齡的增長，聲音、形體發生變化，行話謂之"倒人緣兒"，同行不願搭伴，於是開始自己單干。 十七歲的他，第一次離開北京。 與師弟聶小鎖步行經通州、三河縣、玉田縣至唐山，沿途演出。 這也是相聲第一次來到唐山、三河縣和玉田縣。 在歸途中，曾到天津北開市場、三不管等地演出，與李瑞峰等短期合作。 這也是張壽臣首次來津演出，由於幾年的闖練和積累，不僅掌握了傳統的相聲段子，表演亦日漸成熟，並開創了年輕演員單口相聲的先例。 <br /> 一九三一年，收常寶堃（小蘑菇）為徒。 "七七事變"，京津淪陷後，多次拒絕日方提出到東京（實際是釜山）錄製唱片的要求，遭到特務的跟蹤，乃與侯一塵到南京、鎮江等地作短期演出。 而後多年與周德山搭伴演出於天津各曲藝場，並與白雲鵬同台演出於新中央戲院表演滑稽小戲。 後因思想苦悶，有心退出舞臺;但又為生活所迫改行說評書。 一九五三年，參加天津市曲藝工作團，專事單口相聲的演出。 一九五六年，為繼承北方評書傳統節目，由市文化局安排在南市通海茶社，演述評書《水滸》。 由何遲整理的《小神仙》《吃西瓜》兩本單口相聲選集出版。 其代表節目《三近視》被譯為外文在國外發表。 年底，所在單位天津市曲藝工作團併入天津人民廣播電臺曲藝團。 在天津各曲藝場隨天津人民廣播電臺曲藝團演出單口相聲。 <br />張壽臣在他60多年的藝術生涯中，博采眾長，匠心獨運，大膽創新，取得了一定成就。 他是我國相聲藝術界重要的代表人物。 <br /> <br/>Powered by <a href="https://firstory.me">Firstory Hosting</a></p>
