And verdicts are dangerous because once your brain decides, well, I've ruined it, you suddenly give yourself permission to keep going. I miss the gym, the week is ruined. I drank, so sobriety is ruined. I binged, so diet is ruined. I texted them, so all my healing is ruined. I spent money I didn't mean to spend, the budget is ruined.
