Building Foundations of Hope with Dr. Kelly Little

Host Beverly Knox Davis welcomes Dr. Kelly Little to the Brighter Day Outreach podcast to discuss community empowerment and family advocacy. Dr. Little shares how his upbringing in a female-led household shaped his intuitive approach to supporting both men and women. A central focus of the conversation is his rare role as a male doula, a position he uses to educate fathers on maternal health and reduce preventable deaths during pregnancy. The dialogue emphasizes the importance of healing-centered engagement and the need for intergenerational wisdom within the African-American community. Both speakers advocate for collaborative support systems that prioritize youth mentorship, emotional intelligence, and authentic partnership between families. Ultimately, the source highlights a shared mission to build brighter futures through divine alignment and grassroots activism. Building Brighter Days Through Community and Fatherhood Leadership

In this podcast episode, host Beverly Knox Davis interviews Dr. Kelly Little to highlight their shared commitment to community uplift and youth empowerment in the Charlotte area. Dr. Little shares his personal journey from a military career to founding the Urban Institute for Strengthening Families, emphasizing that true healing occurs through communal support rather than isolation. The discussion focuses on the importance of mentoring young men, addressing maternal health equity, and understanding the biological factors that influence behavior.
