Wars of the Roses: Episode 3
King Edward VI reigns victorious. Queen Elizabeth Woodville has given birth to an heir. The House of York has finally secured England’s throne. Now, they just need to keep it. Richard of Gloucester has his sights set on his brother’s crown, but to get it, he’ll need to get a lot of people out of his way. Fortunately for him, it only takes a few well-placed whispers to turn Edward and George against one another. But Queen Elizabeth and her family are on his trail, and are fiercely protective of Edward’s two sons, next in line for the throne. With Margaret of Anjou chanting curses from the corner and Lancastrian upstart Henry Tudor raising an army across the sea, Richard has to work quick to clear his path to the throne. But when the bodies start piling up, he’s forced to face the one foe he’s been avoiding his whole life - his own mind. Wars of the Roses: Episode 2
The Duke of York left England under the rule of the red rose of the House of Lancaster. His armies raised, his white rose raised high, he returns to… Riding by his side are three of his sons - Edward, the fierce and righteous eldest; George, the feisty and changeable middle child; and Richard, the most ferocious by far. Together, they’re a fearsome trio. What’s more, York has made an ally of the mighty Earl of Warwick, whose wealth and influence are second only to the king himself. If he can keep Warwick loyal to his cause, victory seems all but assured. But though King Henry urges a path of peace, Queen Margaret has no qualms fighting fire with fire, especially now that she has a son and heir to protect. When she recruits a bloodthirsty, vengeful soldier to her side, heads start to roll. War is here, and England lies in the balance. However, tensions rise with the arrival of a controversial bride for the king, French noblewoman Margaret of Anjou. Emboldened by her salacious ally, the Earl of Suffolk, Margaret makes it her mission to seize her full authority as Queen by any means necessary.
