Hey yall!
It's finally here.
Season 2, Episode 1, Part 1. Conversations with Creatives with our first concept aka guest and good friend; Devyn Rashid.
I couldn't give yall an hour long episode off bat because ~attention span~ so enjoy Part 1.
Grounded New was an ongoing concept throughout this conversation. Enjoy learning more about Devyn and hearing his OWN music all throughout this episode. We started by just groovin to a joint he created and just played aloud, throughout you'll hear my nervous giggles, obnoxious outbursts, our wisdom, a special unexpected guest who walked by our set up and so much more tea.
I value getting to know artists deeper. To be able to do that live a direct is an honor. I can't wait to feature more creatives from all avenues of art, maybe it'll be one of you lovely listeners. Thank you for growing with me on my platform. I can't wait to see where this platform is one year from today. It has challenged my belief in self as well as my ability to be consistent. Childhood Trauma, lets talk about it.
Whew ya'll. You could tell I was anxious to record this episode. Childhood trauma...forgive and shift focus to how you can break this generational trauma. They hurt us because they were hurting. So let's prioritize healing before our trauma shows up in the lives of those we love. We are equipped and we are capable.

This can apply to ones self, your relationships or friendships, your work environment, or even day to day experiences. Ponder this week on what purpose these things or people serve in your life. I was a woman of few words of my own with this episode. One of my favorite poems is Phenomenal Woman by Thee Maya Angelou.
