Three Weeks of Silence… Here’s What God Has Been Doing
For three weeks, there was silence.
No podcast uploads. No updates. Just life unfolding in ways I didn’t expect.
In this deeply personal episode, I share what the last few weeks in Malawi have honestly looked like — the distractions, the friendships, the unexpected joy, and the quiet realization that this place has started to feel like home.
From early mornings in Zomba watching the sunrise with my Bible and hot tea… to building meaningful relationships with people from all over the world… to wrestling with the thought of eventually leaving Malawi behind — this season has stretched my heart in ways I never anticipated.
I talk about:
• The emotional shift of finally adjusting to life in a new country
• Why community has become so important to me here
• The inner tension of loving Malawi while knowing God still has purpose for me back home
• What God taught me during a peaceful trip to Zomba
• Why solitude with the Lord has become essential for me spiritually and emotionally
This episode feels less like a polished update and more like a voice memo from my heart.
And honestly? I think those are sometimes the most important conversations.

The Wake-Up Call I Didn’t Expect in Malawi
This wasn’t just an Easter… it was a reset.
Spending Easter in Malawi—away from family for the first time—brought unexpected joy, deep worship, and a powerful moment of clarity.
From a beautiful church service filled with music and celebration… to an intimate 90-minute worship session that felt like a personal gift from God… this experience was unforgettable.
But the real breakthrough?
A hard realization:
Being busy around good people… isn’t the same as being close to God.
In this episode, we unpack:
• What happens when you slowly lose spiritual focus
• Why “just reading your Bible” might not be enough
• The conviction behind James 3 and the power of your words
• How God uses moments like Easter to realign your purpose
This is about more than Easter.
It’s about getting back on mission.

God Had to Take Me Out of My Comfort Zone to Show Me This
Most people talk about faith.
But very few are forced to live it.
In this episode, M shares what it’s really like to step into the unknown—alone, uncomfortable, and far from everything familiar.
The first two weeks in Malawi were not easy.
New culture. New environment. No family. No routine.
But then something shifted.
Through worship, community, and unexpected moments—God began to reveal something deeper:
Not just His presence…
But His love.
From standing at Lake Malawi…
To dancing with children in a village…
To hearing the message of the “Confrontational King”…
This episode is about what happens when discomfort turns into clarity.
And when you stop focusing on what you’ve lost…
And start seeing what you’ve been given.
If you’ve ever questioned where God is in the middle of change—
This episode will challenge you.

No family.
No familiarity.
And suddenly… you’re face-to-face with yourself.

Because in the middle of uncertainty… one truth grounded me:
“He knows.”
This is a conversation about faith under pressure, identity in isolation, and what happens when God strips away everything familiar… so you can finally see Him clearly.

I Made it to Malawi
She Left Home To Follow God… And Her First Day Was Harder Than She Expected
What happens when faith takes you somewhere far from home?
In this deeply personal episode, Jeanelle shares the honest story of arriving in Malawi for the first time. The excitement of answering God’s call quickly collided with the reality of distance, exhaustion, culture, and the emotional weight of leaving family behind.
Her first day was filled with powerful moments—chapel with students from around the world, walking through classrooms filled with children from multiple nations, and beginning the first steps of what will become months of service.
But behind the excitement was something many missionaries rarely talk about:
Loneliness.
Uncertainty.
And the quiet battle of the mind.
In this episode you’ll hear:
• What it actually feels like to land in a new country alone
• The emotional reality of the first 24 hours on the mission field
• Why fixing your mind on Christ becomes essential when everything feels unfamiliar
• The beauty of seeing many cultures worship and learn together
• How faith carries you when your heart misses home
Jeanelle’s story is a reminder that following God often leads us far outside our comfort zones—but never outside His presence.
If you’ve ever wondered what the beginning of a mission journey really looks like, this episode will give you an honest and encouraging glimpse.
Stay connected for more updates from Malawi.

He Renews My Soul
Four Days Before Malawi… And I Almost Gave Up.
Four days before leaving for Malawi, the pressure hit.
Last-minute responsibilities. Heavy thoughts. Spiritual warfare that felt personal.
And for the first time, the question surfaced:
“Maybe it’s time to quit.”
In this vulnerable weekly update, Jeanelle shares the real battle behind preparing for missions — the mental resistance, the spiritual opposition, and the scripture that carried her through.
From 2 Thessalonians 3:13 —
“Do not grow weary in doing good.”
To 1 Timothy 1:18 —
“Engage in the battle.”
This isn’t just about a trip.
It’s about learning how to fight when your mind tells you to stop.
If you’ve ever felt opposition right before stepping into something God called you to… this episode is for you.

Why I’m Putting My Life on Hold to Go to Malawi
What do you do when God asks you to pause the “normal” path—and say yes to something unknown?
In this episode, I share the heart behind my decision to move to Malawi for several months and what the Lord has placed on my heart while I’m there. From serving elementary students in a Christ-centered school, to walking closely with young women through worship nights, Bible studies, and honest conversations about faith, integrity, and relationships—this journey isn’t about a short mission trip. It’s about presence.
I talk openly about the weight of going alone, stepping into a new culture and language, and choosing obedience over comfort. This is not about being a savior—it’s about being faithful. Living life alongside the people God has called me to love, listen to, learn from, and walk with.
If you’ve ever felt called to something that doesn’t fit the expected timeline of college, career, or comfort… this episode is for you.
I also share how you can pray, partner, and walk with me as God works in Malawi—because He’s moving there just as powerfully as He is here.
Love you, family. Thank you for being part of this journey.

When God Says “Wait”: Trusting Him When the Plan Falls Apart
In this episode, I share an honest update on the season God has me in right now. After returning from Costa Rica, I believed the Lord was opening the door for a long-term mission in Malawi. I prayed, prepared, and began the process—trusting Him with each step.
While the timeline has not unfolded the way I expected, this season has become one of deep surrender, prayer, and trust. God has been using the waiting to refine my faith, reshape my heart, and teach me what it truly means to depend on Him—whether He sends me or keeps me where I am.
This episode isn’t about asking for anything. It’s about sharing what God is doing in me, how He’s teaching me to release control, and how I’m learning to walk in freedom and obedience one day at a time.
Thank you for praying, supporting, and walking alongside me in this journey.

God of Abundance
In this powerful journal-style episode, we hear from Jeanelle, a young missionary in Costa Rica, as she reflects on service, surrender, and the supernatural love of God.
As she prepares to embark on a week-long mission trip, Jeanelle opens her heart about her weekly routines on the mission grounds—like “Service Day,” where every student contributes to maintaining the land they live on. But what stands out most is her deeply personal journey: choosing not to return for another semester despite finding a second home among the students and staff, visiting a men’s rehab center where language didn’t stop connection, and learning one of the hardest lessons—it’s not her job to fix others, only to love them like Jesus.
Raw and full of spiritual insight, Jeanelle unpacks what it means to rely on God’s love instead of her own strength, and how being separated from her family—especially her sister—has stirred unexpected emotions and dependence on God’s peace.
This is a beautiful, honest reminder that men cannot produce righteousness any more than a lamp can shine without oil. We must stay filled, fueled, and fully dependent on the Lord of abundance.
Listen in and be encouraged—and don’t forget to share this with someone who needs to be reminded of God’s never-ending grace.
