Welcome to A Crotchety Podcast!
Isn't music a nice thing?
We (Chris Fordham and David Luck) certainly think so: as well as playing in a band together, we wanted to share our great love of music with all of you. Truth is, there's FAR too much that doesn't get the love it deserves, so as well as the stuff that everyone's heard of, we'll be introducing you (and each other!) to a ton of tracks we're certain you'll never have heard before!
When we say underrated, some of this stuff is so obscure, you can't even listen to it online!!
There'll be regular guests and no limits on decade or genre! We hope you'll join us on this journey of discovery with a splash of sense of humour and general chat thrown in!
Remember when The Jam sang about going underground?
Well that's exactly what we're doing in this episode, because not only are there great examples of under the radar tracks and artists, but the connection between all the songs is minerals!
Chris and David are joined once again by sci-fi enthusiast and all-round creative Donna Scott for a dig around to see what valuables can be found: here, they bring treasures from the likes of Pendulum, TV On the Radio, Deftones, All About Eve plus many more!
As an added bonus, mining for great music doesn't need to be a health and safety nightmare!
Not necessarily......

Episode 30 - Baby by Bieber Is So Aggressive
Greetings everyone!
Who remembers the heatwave we had in the UK a while ago?
Well, Chris and David are here to bring back wonderful memories of all the unpleasantries that period brought with an episode themed around temperature!

Episode 29 - Seven Hours at Glastonbury Looking for His Teeth
Welcome music fans! Not only do Chris and David have some more fantastic tunes to share with you, but they are joined by a brand new guest!
This man is a comedy promoter who gave David his first ever stand-up gig (for better or worse) as well as a huge music fan, DJ and very regular concert-goer: it's Nottingham-based entertainer Mike Bottomley A.K.A. Spiky Mike!
This show is also guaranteed to bring you some stellar song choices because the guys have picked songs from what they consider to be non-skip albums. Amongst the offerings on display are ones from Sex Pistols, Boston, The Prodigy and The Flaming Lips!
Oh, and the episode title doesn't refer to anyone featured, honestly.
